Job title: Digital Strategist

Description:

The Digital Strategist role will work closely with a small roster of clients. The main responsibility of the role is to develop robust digital strategies and build strong strategic relationships with clients that strengthen Samiei Solutions' position.

Job title: Project Manager

Description:

The Project Manager will report directly to the Head of Projects and will work closely with a small roster of clients and across Samiei Solutions. The main responsibility of the role is to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and stakeholder expectations fully managed.
The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for their clients during the delivery phase of our client projects.

The role has two distinct areas of responsibility which could be divided as:

Client

• Understanding the marketing, brand, technology and strategic goals of our Clients businesses
• Producing plans for executing projects
• Providing advice to our clients according to their needs throughout the project lifecycle
• Producing comprehensive status reports and maintaining client extranet
• Obtaining sign off internally and from clients on completion of deliverables
• Closely managing the change control process to minimize scope creep whilst ensure the clients’ expectations are exceeded

Internal

• Ensuring all work adheres to the company policies, safety rules, statutory regulations and standards
• Become an ambassador for your clients businesses / projects within Samiei Solutions
• Timely and accurate invoice management in conjunction with Finance
• Ownership of revenue targets through delivering ON TIME and ON BUDGET
• Ensuring internal and external resources are working to plan, to spec and within budget
• Input into the strategic direction of our clients online business

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Proven ability to deliver a range of multiple digital projects in parallel

• An ability to assist with detailed requirements analysis and an ability to write detailed functional specifications

DESIRABLE:

• Integration with ERP / CRM / Fulfilment systems
• PRINCE 2 knowledge and experience

Job title: PHP Developer

Samiei Solutions is looking for a PHP Developer with at least 2 years commercial experience with a good agency background.

Technical skills required:

• Excellent LAMP developer
• Demonstrable Object Oriented experience in (preferably) PHP, but other language OO experience may be acceptible
• Good understanding of current HTML/CSS/XHTML standards
• Demonstrable experience of working with Large Systems
• Understand of why array_key_exists() is better than isset()

Technical skills desired:

• Linux experience / System Administration skills would be an advantage
• Javascript coding skills
• Any Extreme Programming / RAD skills
• Subversion experience

This exciting and varied role will require a strong coder who is able to work under their own initiative and has experience building modular content management systems and e-commerce applications.
The ideal candidate is capable of thinking the big picture when it comes to development, and able to code defensively. You are currently either a strong middleweight developer who wants to extend your skill set, or you are a senior developer in a small team who has loads of great ideas that you want to unleash.

You will be comfortable dealing with customers, but this will not be the core focus of this role.This is a hands on role that lies at the core of our organisation requiring a true all rounder.
